Nuix Email Discovery Three

Nuix Three is designed for use by the forensic investigator investigating a maximum of three email boxes at a time. Many PCs contain multiple PST files and the use case is when an investigator is analysing one computer to understand what communications were undertaken from that machine or multiple mail files extracted from an email server. This analysis can be undertaken in conjunction with other software solutions so that the communications can be interrogated quickly and easily before a decision is taken to image the hard disk or take it away for further investigation.

This is step-up cost version of Nuix from Nuix One, and is the single solution for investigators who what to use the power of Nuix to either investigate up to three related email boxes at a time or use it as pre-imaging tool to understand whether a hard drive deserves further attention

  • In cases where there is more than three email box, the investigator simply creates another index
  • Typical processing time for three 1 GB mail box with a good indexing PC should take 75 to 135 minutes depending on the processing options chosen and content of mail box. Reviewing the mail boxes then often takes just minutes if the investigator is looking for pornography, leaked IP, deleted emails or encrypted files, as well as understanding the social and business networks of the target.
