Nuix Email Discovery One

Nuix One is designed for use by the forensic investigator investigating one email box at a time. The use case is when an investigator is analysing one person’s computer to understand what communications were undertaken. This analysis can be undertaken in conjunction with other software solutions so that the communications can be interrogated quickly and easily before a decision is taken to image the hard disk or take the PC away for further investigation.

Product Features

This is the low cost version of Nuix, and an entry point for investigators who what to use the power of nuixi to either investigate somebody’s email box or use it as pre-imaging tool to understand whether a hard drive deserves further attention.

  • In cases where there is more than one email box, the investigator simply creates more than one index
  • Typical processing time for a 1 GB mail box with a good indexing PC should take 25-45 minutes depending on the processing options chosen and content of mail box. Reviewing a mail box, once indexed, often takes just minutes if the investigator is looking for pornography, leaked IP, deleted emails or encrypted files, as well as understanding the social and business networks of the target.
