The Disk Jockey IT is a High Speed Data Duplication Tool . It is capable of copying data from IDE, laptop drives and Serial ATA. Designed exclusively for IT data duplication, the Disk Jockey IT data imaging tool is a light weight, portable hand-held device that can copy data to one or two target drives at speeds exceeding 2GB/Min.

Mirror two hard disk drives for real-time backup (RAID level 1) and data is stored simultaneously on both drives. One large logical volume can be made from two disks attached to the Disk Jockey. Data can be copied from one disk to another, with no need for computer, at speeds of up to 2 GB/min. Data can be verified to make sure that an exact duplicate was made with no loss of data. Two levels of disk erasing data - a fast one (one-pass) and more thorough (three-pass) erase.

  • Standalone HD Mode – Mount one or two IDE or SATA (with the purchase of a separate SATA adapter) hard disk drives to the desktop of your Windows or Macintosh computer through Firewire or USB 2.0 without installing any extra drivers. The Disk Jockey IT includes 2.5” laptop adapter cables as well as 3.5” desktop cables.
  • Mirroring – The Disk Jockey allows you to mirror two hard disk drives for real-time backup (RAID level 1). If one drive fails you experience no down times as the data is stored simultaneously on the second drive.
  • Spanning – Easily make one large logical volume from two disks attached to the Disk Jockey, then connect the Disk Jockey to your Firewire or USB equipped Windows or Macintosh computer to access the two drives as standard external storage.
  • Fast Disk to Disk Copies – The Disk Jockey is a portable, hand held sector-level disk duplicator. No computer is necessary for hard disk copy mode. The Disk Jockey can copy data at speeds of up to 2 GB/min. The Disk Jockey IT is the most affordable hardware disk duplicator available for the IT market.
  • Disk Copy Compare / Verification – This feature allows you to verify that the copy you just made is an exact duplicate ensuring that you experience no loss of data whatsoever.
  • Hard Disk Read Test – The Disk Jockey can perform a sector-by-sector hard disk read test on your drives allowing you to get a better feel for the overall health of your hard disk drive.
  • Two levels of erase – The Disk Jockey offer two levels of disk erasure. First is a fast, one-pass erase. Second is a more thorough three-pass erase for use when you absolutely need to be sure that the data on disk has been erased.
