Just a little letter to say thank you for everything you guys at FDR have done for us.  From the beginning, setting up the Intermediate course with you and Pat was just a dream.  Communication, despite the 3 hour difference, was not a problem at all.

I wanted to retrain all my men properly; for senior members, the goal was to re-evaluate their procedures and to readjust if necessary; and for new members, to offer them a solid base and allowing them to explore advance functions of the Encase software.  It was important to me that we host the course in Montreal as to cut down on cost but also to still be operational if need be.

I also offered available seats to our other Law Enforcement partners; Laval, Quebec City, and Montreal Police complied.  We finally hosted 2 Intermediate course over a 2 week period.

I asked for Mr. Sonny Lott as I had taken a course with him in the past and you easily complied. 

Sonny is a well qualified instructor and an ex police officer with over 30 years experience.

Sonny and Francis showed up in Montreal with all the equipments necessary, I only had to provide the classroom.

Sonny did a great job teaching the class, as he explained every detail of the software in a clear and precise manner.  He also gave pertinent Police examples allowing my investigators to understand the reasons behind certain procedures.  He managed to balance the course in such a way that senior members did not find it boring and new members were up to par.  Now that's a feat, as I have brand new members having no experience whatsoever in Computer Forensics to a member with 10 yrs experience.

I was very happy when you suggested that Francis might come out to give Sonny a hand. Having another qualified instructor available was important to me as we have numerous new members and I was worried that they might slow down the class.  Francis was a great help with my newer members, allowing Sonny to continue teaching.

It was a great experience hosting FDR training courses in Montreal.  The onsite training delivery met and has exceeded my expectations.  I can't thank you guys enough for what you have done for me and for the Sûreté du Québec.

I just finished the Network Intrusion Course in Markham this past week. The instructor was first rate and very knowledgeable in the field. Whilst a lot of the information covered in the course is available through other course vendors, the forensics parts dealing with the EnCase software is unique and invaluable to someone who covers this form of forensics. I look forward to future training opportunities with FDR as the three courses I have attended now have all been excellent and come highly recommended by me.
