EnCase® Training

The Best Training Available on Critical, Real-World Issues

FDR is the exclusive Canadian training partner for Guidance Software Inc., delivering all EnCase® training in Canada.  FDR is the only organization in Canada who certifies and employs EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE)-certified instructors (on behalf of Guidance Software Inc.).  As Guidance Software's exclusive Canadian Training Partner, we are the only company in Canada with this credential.

We have delivered computer forensics and incident response training to hundreds of law enforcement, public and private investigators, corporate, legal and IT security professionals; supporting their skill development in computer forensics, digital investigations and progression to obtain their EnCE designation.

An organization can use their equipment or FDR's mobile classroom (that includes a complete suite of advanced computer and technical equipment).  FDR expert instructors are Guidance Software Inc. EnCase® Certified course instructors (the only in Canada).  Our instructors deliver an interactive, hands-on training format - all in a comfortable learning environment at the location of the organization's choice.

FDR provides all classroom materials and a Guidance Software Inc. EnCase® Certified Instructor.  We can use an organization's equipment (upon specification approval) or our mobile classroom equipment.  Courses are usually held Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m, with set-up occurring on Monday prior to the class. The size of the classroom enables organizations to host the onsite training in a small or regular sized meeting room (depending on the number of students attending). Each student has a notebook computer to work with; and upon successful completion of the course, attendees receive a Certificate of Completion (including 32 CPE credits) signed by the EnCase® Certified Instructor.

ADF Digital First Responder (DFR) Training

FDR provides ADF's 2-day Digital First Responder Training and Certification programs to organizations throughout Canada.  FDR provides the classroom materials and our ADF-certified instructor. Each student brings their own laptop and an additional laptop (as the suspect laptop) and organizations can host onsite training in a regular sized meeting room. Upon successful completion of each DFR course, attendees receive a Certificate of completion signed by our ADF-certified instructor.
